What a fun and informative trip this was for myself and my 17 year old daughter! We felt up close and personal with the animals. The animals seem to be at peace in this home and are well cared for by a staff that "gets" animals and has a true passion for them. We learned some things in addition to having a great time! I just love seeing a family making a dream come true with preservation and conservation as the cornerstone for the experience. I definitely look to enjoy more encounters here in the future!

The staff was super knowledgeable and friendly. The entire zoo is a small town feel and very welcoming. All the animals were well taken care of. The walking tour is about 1-1.5 hours long and parts of it were hard with a stroller, but overall not bad. The tour was educational and fun to see different animals. The kids loved feeding the camel and other animals! 

Awesome tour and we enjoyed learning about each animal. The people who run this clearly love these animals and they are very well taken care of and happy.  Do the nursery experience for sure!
